Why do we fail?

Hello Friends,

Today, I am going off our main topic. But it might make you re-think about your past mistakes and help you explore possible opportunities in future, So I thought to share it with you all.

We often wonder - Why do we fail?

To help you understand, let me tell you a story.

Once upon a time there was a dry well, located in the middle of deep forest where even sun light hardly reaches. There was one an evil man in the village, who used to pick up the good souls from the village and throw them in the dry well to watch them die slowly inside the well without food and water. In some time, the evil man has finally threw the last good soul also into that dry well. He (the last person) saw that there are many people in the well, some are struggling to get out of the well and some have already died because of no water and food.

The well was quite deep and it was almost impossible to climb the wall of well and jump off. Everyone in the well has tried to jump off but eventually failed. The last person also tried multiple times but failed. Having lost all the hopes, he sat in one corner, waiting to die like everyone.

He then saw an old man, probable the first person having being thrown into that well. He asked that old man – "Is it even possible to jump off the well or could anyone in the past do that?"

“No, except a five year old child” – The old man replied.

What, a child? – He asked.

He then questioned… how? How a child jumped off the well, when no one else could do that?

The old man replied –  "because he did not tie him with any rope while jump. He knew, he will not have second chance. He knew, he will die if he fails. So he put his 100% effort while jump and succeeded.”

“Whereas, others have tied themselves to the rope while jump to save themselves from dying, in case they fail. And they failed. It’s simple.” – The old man replied again.

The last person then tired and succeeded.

Moral of the story:

"In our life, when we give a try to our passion, we also tie ourselves with some rope of alternate and safe options, in case we fail. And we often fail. It’s simple. While trying your life passion, do not think of failure and do not make second plan. Because when you make second plan, the first one has already failed in your mind. And mind then brings it into existence."
