ORDER

The challenge in the Writ Petition is to Ext.P6 detention notice issued to the petitioner detaining a consignment of goods, on the ground that, the validity of the E-Way Bill that accompanied the consignment of goods had expired. On a consideration of the said notice and the reasons stated therein, I find that the detention of the goods cannot be said to be unjustified. Taking note of the submission of counsel for the petitioner that he is prepared to furnish security for the release of the consignments, I direct that if the petitioner furnishes a bank guarantee for the tax and penalty amounts determined in Ext.P6 notice, then the 1st respondent shall release the goods to the petitioner. The respondents shall thereafter refer the matter for adjudication under the provisions of the Central Goods and Service Tax Act. The petitioner shall produce a copy of the writ petition together with a copy of this judgment before the respondents for further action. The writ petition is dispose....
