The applicant has preferred this First Bail Application under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for grant of regular bail, as he has been arrested in connection with Crime No.05/FIC//GST/2024-25, registered at Police Station – Central GST, Raipur, (CG) for the offence punishable under Sections 132 (1) (c) punishable under Section 132 (1) (i) (1) of CGST Act, 2017. 2. As per the story of the prosecution, it is alleged that on the intelligence was received that a person named Hemant Kasera was engaged in operating a web of fake firms by using credentials of various persons. On the basis of specific intel, the search was conducted at business and residential premises of key person and the mastermind behind the racket i.e. Hemant Kasera was arrested on 03.04.2024.
