ORDER ON BOARD 1. This is the first bail application filed under Section 483 of the Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for grant of regular bail to the applicant who has been arrested in connection with Crime No. 1191/GST/2024/-25 registered at Police Station Directorate General of GST Intelligence, Raipur Zonal Unit, for the offences punishable under Section 16, Section 132 (1) (b), 132 (1) (c) and 132 (1) (f) of the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. 2. prosecution's story is that the Central GST authorities received confidential information that Rohit Singla/accused was passing on unauthorized Input Tax Credit (ITC) to various firms through non-existent firms. Based on this information, an investigation was conducted, which revealed that the accused, Rohit Singla, had passed on crores of rupees in unauthorized ITC to various firms without actual supply of goods, merely on the basis of invoices.
