Heard Sri G.S. Chaturvedi, learned Senior Counsel assisted by Ms. Somya Chaturvedi and Mr. Somesh Khare, learned counsel for the applicant, Sri Dileep Chandra Mathur, learned counsel for the opposite parties - Union of India and Senior Intelligence Officer, DGGI, Gurgram Zonal Unit and perused the material available on record. By way of the instant anticipatory bail application, prayer has been made for grant of anticipatory bail to the applicant in respect of Summons/Notice No. 4197, Dated 21.12.2020, under Section - 70 of Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 issued by respondent no. 2, during the pendency of trial of the present case. Prior notice of this bail application was served in the office of Government Advocate and as per Chapter XVIII, Rule 18 of the Allahabad High Court Rules, this anticipatory bail application is being heard.
